INSTRUCTIONS - SPLICING BUNDLES

1. CUT AN OPENING Cut an opening in the microduct using the Melbye Cable Stripping Knife.

2. SLICE ALONG THE MICRODUCT Make a slice along the length of microduct using the Melbye Rachetting Duct and Cable Slitter.

3. PULL OUT INNER MICRODUCT Pull out a loop of microduct.

4. CREATE SOME SLACK Use the Melbye Cable Stripping Knife to pull out enough microduct to insert the Melbye Plastic Pipe Cutter underneath.

5. MAKE A CLEAN CUT Use the Melbye Plastic Tube Cutter 3-12mm (1649192) or the Melbye Tube Cutter in Steel 12-25mm (1662506) to cleanly cut the microduct.

PUSH TO FIT

6. CONNECT THE MICRODUCT

Use a coupler to connect the two microducts together. Push firmly to fit.

PULL TO CHECK

7. CHECK CONNECTION Pull each duct away from the coupler to check the fit is correct.
